Past Jobs: |
After holding a secretarial job while I
completed my BA, I then worked for NYS Office of Mental Retardation and Dev.
Disabilities as a Social Work Asst. After completing a Master's in Public
Admin, I spent the remainder of my state career working for various agencies
as a classification and pay analyst and personnel and labor relations
administrator. |
Other Activities |
Since retirement in 2001, I have worked
with the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society as a cat foster and adoption
volunteer. Last year, I fostered and placed 45+ kittens and cats into
(good, I hope!) homes |
Favorite Teacher(s): |
I went to Greenwich CS Freshman year.
While there, my two favorite teachers were Mrs. Wilbur and Mrs. Kent, both
from Cambridge. At Cambridge CS, Mr. Wilbur, for home room and science (who
tried to convince me that I had a functioning brain beneath the flakiness),
and Mrs. Hudson, who encouraged me to "do more". |
Memories: |
I feel I should still be apologizing to
Cliff Walrath for dropping the screwdriver on his head from atop a ladder
while working on the stage set for our class play. Fondly recall walking
down N Park St to visit with Mike in the popcorn wagon and his popcorn with
the extra "butter". Also, the cherry cokes at the LeGrys fountain and Alice
Dennis' great egg salad sandwiches. Then there were the convivial gatherings
atop Colfax--how did Mr. O'Connor always learn of them??? And Mr. Wilbur's
science field trip there, with the notorious apple fight. |
