Granville has always favored
Old Gold and Royal Blue
And all the Argyle Students
To the Red and Grey are true.
Though these colors all are pretty
True brilliancy they lack.
For Cambridge stands defenders
of The Orange and The Black

Through the four long years of high school
Midst the scenes we love so well.
The mystic charms of knowledge
We vainly seek to spell.
Though we win athletic victories
on football, field and track
Still we fight for Dear Old Cambridge
and The Orange and The Black

As the cares of life o’ertake us,
Mingling fast our locks of gray,
Should our dearest hopes betray us,
False fortune fall away,
Still we’ll banish care and sadness,
As we turn our memories back
And recall those days of gladness
‘Neath the Orange and the Black.
