Daniel Wilbur

 
SOUTH CAMBRIDGE -- Daniel M. Wilbur, 56, a resident of Whiteside Road, passed away Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at Glens Falls Hospital with his family at his side.

Born May 12, 1954, in Cambridge, he was a son of Charles B. and Betty (Snell) Wilbur.

Daniel was raised on the family farm and grew to love hunting, the New York Yankees, card playing and four wheeling. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and large group of friends. He was employed by Asgrow Seed, General Electric and The Saratogian.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law, John Kelly.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Wilbur of South Cambridge; his loving wife, Pam Wilbur of South Cambridge; one son, Zachary Wilbur of Cambridge; two brothers, Larry Wilbur of Easton and Clifford (Janice) Wilbur of South Cambridge; three sisters: Marie (Al) Tollisen of Halfmoon, Elaine Kelly of Greenwich, Joan (Will) Thomas of South Cambridge; two stepchildren, Jeffrey Kimmey of Dayton, Ohio and Sarah Kimmey of Albany; many nieces, nephews and friends including: Hazel Rockefeller, Phil Murphy and Mary Lou Wood.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at the Hoosic Valley Community Church in Schaghticoke, with the Rev. Clyde McCaskill, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Easton Rural Cemetery.

Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich.
