Sica, 76, of
Cambridge,
passed away
on her
birthday,
Thursday,
March 19,
2009, at
Saratoga
Hospital.
Born March
19, 1933, in
Titusville,
Pa., she was
the daughter
of the late
George and
May (Decker)
Bowles.
Mrs. Sica
graduated
from
Cambridge
High School
at age 16
and worked
at G.L.F.
Petroleum in
Greenwich as
a
bookkeeper.
She took a
leave from
work to care
for her
children and
returned to
Agway Supply
Center,
working in
the same
capacity for
many years
until the
1980s. She
then worked
as a
bookkeeper
at Allen
Farm
Equipment
before
retiring.
She loved
baking and
cooking and
enjoyed her
weekend
family
gatherings.
In addition
to her
parents, she
was
predeceased
by her
husband,
Vincent Sica,
who passed
away March
19, 2006.
She is
survived by
a son, Randi
V. Sica, and
his
companion,
Jacqueline
Fedler, of
Cambridge,
and a
daughter,
Sherri L.
Wright, and
her husband,
Nathan, of
Easton. She
is also
survived by
two
grandsons,
Shaun Sica
and Ryan
Sica.
Funeral
services
will be held
at 10 a.m.
Monday,
March 23,
2009, at the
Ackley &
Ross Funeral
Home, 73
West Main
Street,
Cambridge.
Interment
will follow
the service
at Woodlands
Cemetery in
Cambridge.
Relatives
and friends
are invited
to attend
and may call
at the
funeral home
on Sunday
from 2 to 5
p.m.
Memorial
