Anthony J.
Rubino, 75,
of
Cambridge,
passed away
peacefully
Friday, June
6, 2008 at
his
residence
with his
family and
his beloved
dog Duchess
by his side.
Mr.
Rubino was
born in
Cambridge on
October 8,
1932 the son
of the late
James Joseph
and Winifred
(Fantozzi)
Rubino.
Anthony
graduated
from
Cambridge
High School
and received
an
Associate's
Degree in
Applied
Science from
Hudson
Valley
Community
College.
Mr.
Rubino
proudly
served his
country in
the U.S.
Navy. He had
owned and
operated a
plumbing and
electrical
business in
Cambridge
and he was
also the
owner and
operator of
Rubino's
Hardware
Store in
Cambridge
retiring
after 40
years of
service. He
was a member
of St.
Patrick's
Church in
Cambridge
and was a
founding
member of
the
Cambridge
Valley
Athletic
Association.
Anthony is
survived by
his wife of
52 years,
Elsie
Patricia
Keys Rubino
whom he
married
August 25,
1956; his
four
children,
Mark Rubino
and his wife
Susan of
Schenectady,
Julie
Kelleher and
her husband
Terry of
Greenwich,
Alesa Wilson
and her
husband Alan
of Salem and
Jenny Warner
and her
husband Mark
of Syracuse.
He is also
survived by
a sister,
Connie Carle
of Cambridge
and his
grandchildren,
Bradley,
Kyle, Sean
and Matthew
Kelleher,
Briana and
Nicholas
Wilson,
Alissa and
Karly
Warner,
Elizabeth
Rubino,
Nicole and
Erik
DeRocher. In
addition to
his parents,
Anthony was
also
pre-deceased
by his
brother,
James Rubino,
Jr. of Troy,
NY.
