Pam Burch Rogge

\Pam Ella Rogge, 68, of Eagle Bridge, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 3, 2012 at her residence. Born May 12, 1943 in Cambridge, Pam was the daughter of the late Clarence W. and Mary E. (Townsend) Burch. Pam was a 1960 graduate of Cambridge Central School and had worked in the housekeeping department at the Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge for many years until the hospital closed. She then went to work for the Danforth Adult Home in Hoosick Falls in their housekeeping department until 2011 when she retired.

Pam was a member of the former Dutch Reformed Church of Buskirk and also a former member of the Buskirk Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed her visits with her sister Alma where they would play dominoes. Pam looked forward to attending the monthly meetings with her co-workers from the Mary McClellan Hospital.

In addition to her parents, Pam was pre-deceased by her husband, Alfred Rogge who passed away in 1999 and a brother, Clarence D. Burch.

Pam is survived by a step-son, Karl Rogge of Clarksburg, MD; three sisters, Rita Cooke of Vergennes, VT, Alma J. McInerney of Buskirk, NY and Helen J. Loveland of Cossayuna, NY; a brother, Ronald Burch of Victory Mills, NY. She is also survived by a step-grandson, Seth Rogge and two step-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 6-8 pm at the Ackley & Ross Funeral Home, 73 West Main Street, Cambridge.

A memorial service will take place at 10:00 am Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Kate Kotfila officiating. Interment will take place at the Island Hill Cemetery in Buskirk.
