Meek,
71, of
Greenwich,
died
peacefully
Sunday,
May 2,
2010,
at
Glens
Falls
Hospital,
after
an
extensive
and
courageous
battle
with
breast
cancer.
She
was
the
only
child
of the
late
Frances
(Henderson)
and
Malcolm
Hall.
A
graduate
of
Cambridge
High
School
and
Albany
Business
College,
Nancy
worked
for a
law
firm
in
Albany
prior
to her
marriage
to Dr.
John
C.
Meek.
Nancy
was a
devoted
wife,
mother,
grandmother
and
friend.
Nancy
is
survived
by her
husband
of 50
years,
Dr.
John
Meek;
four
daughters,
Vicki,
Tami,
Heidi
and
Cindi
(Robert)
Barnes;
four
grandchildren:
John,
Olivia
and
Robert
Barnes
and
Sarah
Meek-
Burola;
and
extended
family.
A
memorial
service
will
be
held
at 6
p.m.
Thursday,
May 6,
2010,
at
Flynn
Bros.
Inc.
Funeral
Home,
80
Main
St.,
Greenwich.
Friends
may
call
on
Thursday,
prior
to the
service
from 4
to 6
p.m.
at the
funeral
home.
A
reception
for
friends
and
family
will
be
held
following
the
service
at the
Greenwich
VFW on
Abeel
Avenue.
Interment
will
be in
Woodlands
Cemetery
in
Cambridge,
N.Y.
on
Friday,
May 7,
2010,
at 10
a.m.
In
lieu
of
flowers,
the
family
requests
that
donations
be
made
to the
Greenwich
Relay
for
Life,
the
American
Cancer
Society,
the
American
Heart
Association
or The
Pruyn
Center
at
Glens
Falls
Hospital.
The
family
wishes
to

and
his

Adirondack
Cancer
Care,
Radiologist,
