83, of

Falls, died
Tuesday,
October 25,
2005 at the
Centers for
Living and
Rehabilitation
in
Bennington,
VT. , after
a long
illness.
He was the
husband of
June (Allen)
Mcinerney.
Born in
Montreal,
Canada on
July 17,
1922, he was
raised in
Cambridge by
Timothy and
Kathryn
(Nolan)
McInerney.
He graduated
from
Cambridge
Union School
and planned
to continue
his
education
with the
goal of
being a
sports coach
but his
father's
illness
necessitated
him going to
work
"Mac" was
working at
Asgrow Seed
Company when
World War II
started.
Being a
Canadian
citizen, he
joined the
Royal
Canadian Air
Force.
Later he
became an
American
citizen and
served in
the United
States Air
Force.
He worked at
various
jobs,
retiring
from the
Hoosick
Falls Water
Department,
where he had
worked as
chief
operator for
17 years.
An active
member of
the
community,
he was a
trustee on
the village
of Hoosick
Falls Board
of Trustees;
a Boy Scout
leader; a
member of
the
Fraternal
Order of
Eagles, the
V.F.W. and
the Derby
Club.
He was a
founding
member of
the
Cambridge
Band, having
started with
the Sons of
the American
Legion Band
after World
War II.
He played
the drums
and a was a
former drum
major.
Along with
his wife of
44 years, he
is survived
by a son,
Terry A.
Kelley of
East
Postenkill,
5
grandchildren
and 6 great
grandchildren.
The family

memorial
donations be
made to the
Cambridge
