Katie was a
young woman
full of love
and
compassion.
She was a
person so
comfortable
being
herself that
she made the
people
around her
comfortable.
Her time was
constantly
filled
sharing with
others,
whether
volunteering
for Habitat
for Humanity
and VOSCA,
or
reflecting
the beauty
around us
with her
art,
ceramics and
photography.
This past
summer, she
traveled to
Bosnia and
Herzegovina
with New
Life
Fellowship
on a short
term mission
trip to
share
Christ's
love with
the people
there. As
she cared
for people
on the other
side of the
world, she
cared so
much for her
friends and
family here.
She was the
glue in so
many
relationships.
Her loss
will be felt
by countless
people. But
we do have a
secure hope
that she is
Home now.
She will be
sorely
missed, but
she has left
a legacy of
love and
beauty
behind.
