QUEENSBURY Margaret "Peggy" Burrall, 77, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at her son's home in Queensbury.
Born in Cambridge on Nov. 8, 1931, she was the eldest daughter of George and Esther McDonnell.
She graduated from Cambridge Central School in 1949 and attended Samaritan Hospital School of nursing in Troy.
In 1951, she married John Burrall and then spent many years traveling with him and their two children during his service in the Air Force.
They moved to Hudson Falls in 1962, and Peggy worked for 10 years at the general Electric Company. In 1999, they moved to Queensbury.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Burrall, who died in December of 2007, and an infant son, Michael.
She is survived by a son, Peter, and his wife, Lynda, of Queensbury; a daughter, Joan Burrall of South Glens Falls; two grandsons, Kevin and Matthew of Queensbury; her sisters, Mary Onimus of West Chester, Pa. and Helen Santee of Merritt Island, Fla.; her sisters-in-law, Rena Austin and Ann Ungehercer of Buskirk; a cousin, Clairanne Hurst of Suffield, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.
