Aileen Merriman Langlois

Aileen G. (Merriman) Langlois, 80, passed away on March 30, 2017. Aileen was born on June 2, 1936 to the late Clarence and Helen (Starr) Merriman in Cambridge, NY. She graduated from Cambridge Central School in 1954.

Aileen worked on the family farm and loved all animals, especially horses. She was a member of the local Cambridge Saddle Club. She worked at Mack Molding in Arlington, VT, as well as 25 years at Sherwood Medical in Argyle, NY. Aileen lived for many years in Glens Falls and then Ballston Spa, NY. Aileen enjoyed playing bingo, listening to her huge collection of country music, and spending time with her friends and her dog Tomas.

She was dearly loved by her devoted sister-in-law and niece, Barbara and Cheryl Merriman, her very special cousin, Irving LeBarron, and dear friends Theresa Roberts, Pat Burke, and Elizabeth Miller, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Aileen was predeceased by her loving brother and sister, John Merriman and Evelyn McDonald. To know Aileen was to love her.

There will be no formal services at this time. A celebration of her life will take place in the later spring, with her niece, Pastor Pamela Bolton presiding. Memorial contributions may be made in her name, to The Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad, 37 Gilbert Street, Cambridge, NY 12816.
