Dodi Spear Hill Class of 1984 submitted 3 Christmas pictures for the Seasons:Winter 2016/2017 Richard Cristaldi, Class of 1964 submitted a picture :SNOW SHOEING IN CLINTON NY I'm getting in some last minute winter fun before departing for Daytona Beach Shores Florida for the remainder of the winter. Would love to hear from some Cambridge folks who stay near the Daytona area. (You can email Richard from his personal page on our web site. Don’t know how to do that? Well, let me tell you! HOW TO USE THE WEBSITE TO LOCATE CLASSMATES AND FRIENDS: Go to the website www.ccsindians.com. In the left hand column, under INDEX, click on SEARCH THIS SITE and put in the name OR…Click on INDEX OF CLASSES, then click on the yearbook cover for the class you are looking for. If a person has submitted a personal page, their name will be linked to it. If they have given permission to give out their email address, you can click on EMAIL (NAME) and Voila !!!! While I am on the subject….have you checked YOUR personal page lately to see if everything is up to date? If there are any changes to make, please email them to me and I will gladly update your page.
Community Calendar to benefit the CCS Section II Class D
NYS Football Champions Ø One Hundred Hours of pre-season practice sessions Ø One Hundred Twenty hours of in season practice sessions Ø Undefeated 7 on 7 pre-season games in Utica and West Point Ø Seven Undefeated Regular Season Games Ø Six Undefeated Playoff games Ø Thirteen UNDEFEATED games Ø Scoring 684 Total Points Ø 1,406 Receiving Yards Ø 4,205 Rushing Yards Ø 34 players Ø 7 coaches = Our Cambridge Central School Indians, The NYS High School Section II Class D Football Champions.
Other accolades for our team 1. The team earned Athletic Academic Scholar Status 2. Fourteen players named to Section 2 All-Star Team 3. Two Players recognized by the Times Union as All Stars 4. Ten Player named to All State Three players 1st Team; Three players 2nd Team; One player 3rd team and Three players Honorable Mention 5. Players inducted into the National Honor Society 6. Players support VOSCA.
Celebrating our Champions The Cambridge Community has rolled out for their 2016 Indians Football team and in keeping with Championship celebrations we are establishing a Community Cash Calendar to generate funds to purchase the team Championship Rings.
About the Calendar We will target selling 500 calendars (lottery) between January and end of February, purchasers will have an opportunity to win prizes every day in the month of March from businesses in the Cambridge Area. The last few days all participants, will be placed back into the drawing that will feature larger awards.
How you can help As an alumnus, we know that throughout the year many organizations come to you asking for your support and we are as well. However, we will use a portion of your contribution to purchase gift certificates from local businesses to add to the prizes on the calendar so your community and your team wins.
You can also purchase calendars for yourself; they make great gifts for your local family and friends. A link to calendar purchase will be on Facebook and on the Tribesman Page of the CCS website.
Contribution can be sent directly to the Tribesmen Booster Club at 24 S Park St, Cambridge, NY 12816. Please indicate in the memo or in a note that the funds are for the Championship Rings.
