Timothy James Timmerman, beloved father, partner, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at Rutland Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on October 22, 1961, to Peter H. Timmerman and Doris Lockrow Timmerman. Timothy grew up in the town of Eagle Bridge, NY.

A graduate of Cambridge Central School in 1980, Tim began his career in the mechanical trade at an early age. He later worked as a skilled diesel mechanic and welder for many years at Lloyd Whipple, Inc. in Fair Haven, Vermont. Tim took great pride in his work and enjoyed the satisfaction of creating and fixing things with his hands. His dedication to his craft also allowed him to form meaningful relationships within his local community, where he was known for his helpful nature and hard work.
Tim’s love for his children was strong, and the values of hard work, generosity, and compassion that he lived by continue through them. He is survived by his longtime partner, Mary Coombs of Castleton, VT; his children, Tanner Timmerman (Kerrie) of Wilmington, NC, Colton Timmerman (Georgina) of Brooklyn, NY, Lacey Timmerman of Wilmington, NC, and grandson Elliott Timmerman; his former wife, Cindy Whipple of Wilmington, NC; his brother, Mark Timmerman of Bennington, VT; his sister, Tina Will (Mike) of Fallbrook, CA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Tim was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Victoria Rose; his parents, Peter and Doris Timmerman; and his brothers, Glenn, Peter, and Paul Timmerman.
Tim will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially for his kind heart, steadfast work ethic, and the deep love he had for his family. A celebration of his life will be held later this year, where we will come together to honor his memory.
