Shirley Bell Snyder

  Shirley Bell Snyder was born on November 7, 1928 in Cambridge, N.Y. to R. Alexander Bell and Letha Skellie Bell of Jackson. She graduated from Cambridge Central School (Class of 1946) and lived in Hartford, N.Y. She later resided for many years in Sodus, N.Y. before moving to Ashton Place, Clifton Springs, N.Y. in 2015.  Her daughters were with her at her  passing on October 18,  2017.

 

Shirley loved the Lord, her family, and friends. She will be remembered for her enthusiasm for others as well as her creativity, expressed in home, decorations, paintings, and gardens. She is survived by her brother, R. Nelson Bell (June); daughters Marianne Sollosy Anderson and Margaret Sollosy Tiedemann; sons-in-law Hugo Anderson and Douglas Tiedemann; grandchildren Peter Tiedemann and wife Raisa Tiedemann and Nathaniel Tiedemann, and Katherine Tiedemann and Harper Patenaude; and several well-loved nieces, nephews, aBox 94,nd their families. She was preceded in death by husband George C. Snyder, sister Marian Bell Anderson (LeRoy Anderson) and infant son Richard James Sollosy. 

 

A Memorial Celebration Service and reception  will be held at the Pulneyville (NY) Reformed Church on Saturday, January 6,2018 at 1pm.  Memorlal funds will be received at the Poltneyville Reformed Church, Box 94, Pulnzeyville, NY 14538
