Scott David Narkiewicz

SAN DIEGO, Calif.  Scott David Narkiewicz, 47, of San Diego, California, passed away from a massive heart attack Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015.

Scott was born Jan. 7, 1968, in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Scott was the son of the late Thomas John and Hilda (Rego) Narkiewicz of Cambridge.

He graduated from Cambridge Central School and earned his bachelor’s degree at SUNY Brockport.

Scott lived in Philadelphia, Maryland, Florida, Arizona and Oregon before settling in San Diego. He enjoyed working in the landscaping business. Scott loved sports, in particular playing basketball, the New England Patriots and all Boston teams. He was also passionate about playing guitar, heavy metal music and going to concerts.

Scott loved to laugh and have fun. His hearty laugh will be missed. He enjoyed joking with his family and friends and talking about “days gone by.”

Scott cared dearly about his family and friends. He greatly mourned the loss of his father, as well as his best friend, Tim Merriman, and never forgot them. Scott took great pride in being the first to wish each family member a happy birthday. He called home weekly and always ended the call with “I love you, Mom.”

In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his siblings: Susan (Sonny) Collison of Palm Harbor, Florida, Peter (Sarah) Narkiewicz of Hartford, New York; Kristen Narkiewicz (Dave) Robertson of Cambridge; and Timothy (Elke) Narkiewicz of Monmouth, Illinois. Scott adored his nieces and nephews, Ian, Kalen, Molly, Abigail, Jacob, Hazel, Isaac, Eli, Stella and Hollis.

A private service will be held by his family
