Michelle "Micky" McLenithan Nolan

Michelle L. “Micky” Nolan, 61, of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 9, 2016 at Glens Falls Hospital.

Micky was born in Cambridge May 17, 1955 and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Grace (Herrington) McLenithan.

Micky was a 1973 graduate of Cambridge Central School. She had worked for Ed Levins in Cambridge for many years. She then owned and operated the Country Kitchen in Greenwich for 10 years. Micky then went to work for Kay Jewelers in Saratoga Springs as the assistant manager and then was the manager of Zale Jewelry in Saratoga Springs until 2013.

Micky was very spiritual and religious. She enjoyed reading and flower gardening, cooking and most importantly, her grandchildren were very special to her.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by a brother, Clark McLenithan.

Micky is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jamie Nolan whom she married August 2, 1975; her 2 children, Jason (Diane) Nolan of Cambridge and Jessica (Brian) Doherty of Gansevoort. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Nolan, Garrett, Breana, Ruthie, Weston & Silas; her brother & sister, Doug (Penny) McLenithan and Gina R. (Bob) Berger and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the United Methodist Church, 41 East Main St., Cambridge with Rev. Debbie Earthrowl officiating.

Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Cambridge.

There will be no calling hours.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Micky be made to a local food pantry of one’s choice or the Salem Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 360, Salem, NY 12865.
