Marjorie Washburn Matusiak
SCHAGHTICOKE — Marjorie Matusiak, of Hayes Road, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017 at her residence. She was 67.
Born Nov. 7, 1949 in the town of Jackson, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Caroline (Pratt) Washburn. She is the wife of Raymond Matusiak.
She is a graduate of Cambridge Central Schools, class of 1967. She went on to graduate from Oneonta State College in 1971. It was there that she met her soulmate, Ray. They were married in 1972.
She worked at Albany Medical Center and Russell Sage College in food service, retiring in 2008.
Marge enjoyed gardening, knitting, board games and crossword puzzles.
In addition to her husband, Ray, she is survived by a brother, Charles Washburn of Whitehall.
Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main St., Schaghticoke.
Funeral and burial services will be at the convenience of her family.
