Malcolm G. Stannard, age 83 of Kinzers, PA, passed away at his home on Friday, December 12, 2014. He was the husband of June E. Griswold Stannard with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage on November 26th. He was a member of Leacock Presbyterian Church of Paradise, where he was an Elder, Deacon and was on the Missions Committee. Malcolm graduated from Cambridge Central High School, Plattsburg College and Wagner College, New York City, NY with his Master's Degree in education. He was a science teacher and track coach at Middletown High School North of Middletown, NJ, retiring in 1986. He was one of the founding fathers of the Shore Chapter of New Jersey State Track Officials. He was Secretary Emeritus of the Kinzer Fire Company. He enjoyed travel, sports and gardening. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the Army.

Surviving besides his wife are 2 daughters: Laura Stannard at home, Susan wife of Larry Lelah of Whitehouse Station, NJ, 5 grandchildren, brother: Richard husband of Lynn Stannard of Lakeland, FL. He was preceded in death by a son Michael Stannard.

Funeral service will take place from the Leacock Presbyterian Church, 3181 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, PA on Friday, December 19th at 4 p.m. with a viewing time from 3 p.m. until time of service. There will be a viewing on Thursday evening at the Shivery Funeral Home, 3214 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leacock Presbyterian Church, 3181 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, PA 17562.
