Jackie Korb Hamilton

Cambridge-Jacqueline Marie “Jackie” Hamilton, 59, of Cambridge, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at her residence.

Jackie was born January 24, 1957 in Port Jefferson, NY the daughter of Walter and Rose Korb of Buskirk.

Jackie attended schools on Long Island and then moved to Cambridge where she finished high school graduating from Cambridge Central School.

Jackie worked for Horton Farms in Cambridge for many years and then at the Law Office of Sternberg & Gorman in Hoosick Falls.

Jackie was a member of the Whiteside Church in Cambridge and found joy being with family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed showing her dogs, her best friends and companions, Jake, Ollie, Red & Bobby.

Survivors in addition to her parents are  her husband of 41 years, Terry G. Hamilton whom she married August 23, 1975; 4 children, Lynn (Robert) Horton of Cambridge, Andrew “Snack Pak” Hamilton of Greenwich, Teresa (Keith) Cipperly of Hoosick Falls and Keith Hamilton of Cambridge.  Jackie also leaves behind her 3 cherished grandchildren, Caroline Cipperly, Aaron Cipperly and Emily Rose Horton; her siblings, Kathy Korb and Walter (Jeannie) Korb, Jr., both of Buskirk.  She is also survived by her brother-in-Law, Donald (late Kathy) Hamilton; sisters-in-laws, Joan (Paul) Weber of Buskirk and Linda (Fern) Delisle of Argyle and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 1-3 & 6-8 pm at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew Strickland officiating.

A reception will follow the service at the Whiteside Church, 331 Center Cambridge Rd., Cambridge.
