died in the
early
morning
hours of
Friday, July
17, 2009, at
Albany
Medical
Center,
surrounded
by her
loving
sisters. She
was the
widow of
Joseph D.
Dubuke, who
died July
11, 2006.
Born
Tuesday,
Nov. 14,
1944, in
Troy, she
was the
third
daughter of
Richard C.
and Marjorie
(Roberts)
Sawtell.
Gloria was a
graduate of
Cambridge
Central
School,
Class of
1963.
She worked
for many
years in
Argyle as a
production
operator for
Covidien
Industries.
Gloria and
Joe were
married on
Nov. 19,
1995. When
Joe's health
failed,
Gloria was a
devoted
caregiver.
She was a
member of
the Capt.
Maxson
Auxiliary
Unit No. 634
for 33
years. She
was
affiliated
with the
Embury
United
Methodist
Church.
Gloria loved
flowers,
playing
Bingo and
collecting
family
pictures.
She always
made it a
point to
attend
family
gatherings.
Gloria is
survived by
her six
sisters and
their
husbands,
Patricia and
William
Hoffmeister
of Troy,
Teresa and
Gordon White
of Boulder,
Colo., Gail
and Darryl
Decker of
Cambridge,
Penny
Severson of
Cambridge,
Tamie and
Mark J.
Rosko of
Schaghticoke,
and
Jacqueline
Fedler and
Randi Sica
of
Cambridge.
She had many
nieces,
nephews,
great-nieces,
great-nephews
and cousins.
Friends and
relatives

Ross Funeral

Main St.,
Cambridge.
There will
be an
auxiliary
service at
5:30 p.m.
A funeral
service,
conducted by
the Rev.
Jane Baker,
will be on
Tuesday,
July 21 at
the funeral
home at 11
a.m. Gloria
will then be
buried at
Gerald B. H.
Solomon
Saratoga
National
Cemetery
beside her
late
husband.
The family
suggests
memorial
contributions

Gloria was a
caring,
compassionate
woman who
always made
the best of
