to his home
in heaven on
Sunday,
April 10.
2022where he
is now free
from pain
and free
from worry –
a heavenly
home that is
promised to
all true
believers
that
proclaim
Jesus Christ
as Lord.
Born
September
25, 1950 the
oldest of
six children
of David
Barr Wilmot,
Sr. and
Francelia
Evans
Hillard
Wilmot.
Gerry
excelled as
a history
major and
sports
enthusiast.
After
graduating
from Darrow
School and
Siena
College,
Gerry
traveled
overseas to
England and
Europe.
Being an
avid Red
Wings,
Pirates,
Royals,
Steelers and
Penguins
fan, Gerry
attended
such events
with family
and
friends. A
trustworthy
brother with
a great
sense of
humor, never
a father but
a proud and
loving
uncle. He
will be
missed.
In addition
to his
parents,
Gerry was
predeceased
by a
brother,
Irvine “Bud”
Wilmot,
sister-in-law,
Holly
Wilmot;
brother-in-law,
Sam Scully.
Gerry is
survived by
his
siblings,
David
(Gretchen)
Wilmot, Jr.,
Pauline
(Polly)
Scully,
James Wilmot
and Robert
Wilmot; many
nieces and
nephews and
close
friends, Joe
and Becky
Rosano and
family,
Donna and
Fred
Lucrezio,
Pastor Paul
and Chris
Bartholomew
and Jack
Abele.
A calling
hour will be
from 6-7 pm
on Friday,
April 22,
2022 at
Jacob’s Well
Fellowship,
29 West Main
St.,
Cambridge.
A service
will begin
at 7 pm.
Light
refreshments
be in the
fellowship
hall
following
the service.
Interment
will be
private at
Woodlands
Cemetery in
Cambridge.
Memorial
