Wetherby
Gary Ray Wetherby, age 75 of Jacksonville, FL passed away May 23, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center South. He was born October 5, 1944  in St. Albans, VT, the son of Ray Wetherby and Jessie Dunham Wetherby.
Gary possessed a beautiful baritone voice and was dedicated to singing Barbershop for over 50 years. He enjoyed watching Nascar races, watching the Gators and the Jags football games, and his dog Oreo. He is best remembered for the love he shared with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Barbara Wetherby; his daughter Wendy (Chad) McCauley and their children Jessie and Ethan of New York; his step daughter Tanya M. LaFary (Greg) and their children GJ and Kyleigh; also Bethany Monahan (Josh) and their children Etan, Jocelyn, and Alex; and many other loving family members and friends.
In honoring his wishes, memorialization is by cremation. Friends are welcome to share remembrances of Gary below. |
