Heather Finning Spendiff born September 25, 1971 passed away quietly on May 9, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy, N.Y. after a long illness.

A life long resident of Cambridge, N.Y., Heather graduated from Cambridge Central High School and holds a degree in Sales and Marketing from Adirondack Community College. She also was a certified paralegal. A born jock and avid sports fan, Heather held a special place in her heart for NASCAR, The Red Sox, Harley Davidson and the rivalry between her Dallas Cowboys and Tim's NY Giants. Her passions also included reading, movies and all things Disney, especially Mickey Mouse.

 Heather is survived by her loving and devoted husband Tim Spendiff, her son Cody, her parents Leonard Finning (Maureen), her mother JoAnn DiGuglielmo (Ralph), her brother Cory and niece Zoë, her grandmother Mary Ella Whitten, stepbrother and stepsister Jonathan and Jean Marie Kratzer, her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and her loving and loyal friends.

 There will be no services at this time but a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday May 12, beginning at noon at The American Legion Post No 634 in Cambridge, NY.

Heather's family would like to invite anyone who knew and loved Heather that would like to pay their respects. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in the name of Heather Finning Spendiff to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
