Dan Allen Harrington
EAGLE BRIDGE - Dan Allen Harrington, 41, died tragically on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at his home on Turnpike Road. He was the husband of Lisa Jean (Coon) Harrington and the father of Joshua Paul O'Brien, both who also died that day.
 Born Saturday, June 6, 1970, in Cambridge, Dan was the son of Raymond C. Harrington, Sr. and Diana (Brownell) Harrington of Eagle Bridge.
He attended Cambridge Central School where he played football.
He and Lisa were married Aug. 21, 2010.
He hauled milk for Earl T. Wadham Milking Co., for several years before going to work for the White Creek Highway Department where he was the deputy highway superintendent. He and Lisa served on the Town of White Creek recreation commission.
Dan was a great deer hunter. He enjoyed snowmobiling, softball, horseshoes and working on the family cars. He liked to get people laughing.
Along with his parents, Dan is survived by two sons, Erick Neil Harrington of Eagle Bridge and Nicholas Allen Harrington of Hoosick Falls; a grandson, Ayden R. O'Brien of Hoosick Falls; four siblings: Raymond C. Harrington Jr. and wife, Shelley, of Shaftsbury, Vt., Tammy Lee Harrington of Mt. Holly, Vt., Ralph S. Harrington and wife, Sarah, of Cambridge and John R. Harrington and wife, Pam, of Eagle Bridge; his grandfather, "Shank" Harrington of Cambridge; the mother of his sons, Pollyanna O'Brien of Hoosick Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to call on Sunday, July 17, 2011, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Ackley & Ross Funeral Home, 73 W. Main St., Cambridge.
A funeral service for Dan, Lisa and Joshua will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Cambridge United Presbyterian Church, 81 East Main St., Cambridge.
Burial will follow at Rosewood Cemetery, Center White Creek.
The family requests memorial donations be made to a local fire department or rescue squad of your choice.
