Clarice Disorda Gremillion

Clarice A. Gremillion, 63, of Wake Forest NC passed away at her home surrounded by her family March 2, 2018. She was born April 24, 1954 in Proctor, Vermont a daughter of the late Anna (Poczobut) and Clarence Disorda.

Although her family moved frequently in her early years, she graduated from Cambridge Central School where she met her lifelong friend, Lori. Clarice followed her mother's footsteps and began working at Stanley Tools. She then returned to school, obtaining her Associates Degree from Community College of VT (CCV). She began work at Bijur-Delimon International in Bennington VT and Morrisville NC as a Customer Services Representative and continued her career there for 22 years. Clarice was a loving and kind mother, wife, babcia, aunt, sister and friend. She trusted and followed the path of God and Jesus her savior. In her earlier years, she enjoyed camping with her family, especially near the ocean, and continued her love for travel and life, visiting again just a few weeks before her transition to heaven. Clarice was an avid gardener and loved dancing, music, and trivia night. Clarice was a source of strength and comfort to all, always making the best of everything. Clarice was a communicant at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wake Forest and participated in the Perpetual Adoration and Chalice Programs. Most important to Clarice was family and she loved being a mom and a babcia.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by her stepfather Earl John Disorda, and her brother Donald Robert Disorda, Sr.

Clarice is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Richard Gremillion, her daughter Keili Trottier and fiancé Amanda Scott, two grandchildren, Leon and Annabella, her brother, William Disorda and wife Lynn, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Clarice was loved by everyone she met, and her Louisiana family was no exception as she became one of their own. Clarice became especially close to her mother-in-law, Dolores, affectionately known to her as Mamma G.

A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 am May 12, 2018 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, in Cambridge, NY. Burial and reception to follow immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
