of Pine
Street,
passed away
unexpectedly
Monday, Feb.
16, 2015, at
Glens Falls
Hospital.
Born
Dec. 21,
1943, in
Cambridge,
she was the
daughter of
the late Art
and Lillian
(Keys)
Northouse.
For several
years, Chris
was employed
as a home
health aide
for
Washington
County. She
loved her
patients and
they loved
her in
return. When
Chris
retired from
the county,
she began
delivering
newspapers
in the early
morning in
Hudson
Falls. Chris
was an
honest,
well-read,
loving,
caring
mother and
grandmother,
who will be
missed by
not only her
family, but
by everyone
she touched.
She was
thought of
by many as
the nicest
person they
ever met.
Chris was an
avid sports
fan; she
especially
loved to
watch her
granddaughter’s
soccer
games, and
the Fort
Edward
girls’
basketball
and softball
games. Her
passion was
following
Duke
basketball
and New York
Mets
baseball.
She also
enjoyed
watching all
sports on
TV.
Survivors
include her
two
children,
Sherry Keays
and her
special
friend, Dan
Barber, of
Hudson
Falls, and
Jean Keays
and her
fiance, Tony
Catalfamo,
of Hudson
Falls; her
granddaughter,
Alexus
Catalfamo;
Jennifer
O’Sick
Bower, whom
Chris
considered
her third
child; and
her four
cats. Chris
also had a
special bond
with the
Keays
family.

to 6 p.m.
Wednesday,
Feb. 25, at
Carleton
Funeral Home
Inc., 68
Main St., in
Hudson
Falls.
A
celebration
of Chris’
life will
follow the
calling
hours, at 6
p.m.
Wednesday at
the funeral
home.
