SEPTEMBER 27, 2016

Dear CCS Alumni and Friends, so sorry that nothing is going on in your lives that is worthy of sharing with us.  (Does reverse psychology still work?  Is that reverse psychology?)  Any way, sure would like to have some news from you. Don’t you have something you would like to share?   A shout out to family and friends, a promotion, a new job, new house, new baby or grandbaby, a wedding, a vacation, a trip, suggestions for the website, newsletter, reunion, a memory from the past????? Sure would like to hear from you!!!!!

Saturday, October 1st will be Homecoming at CCS. CCS will be playing Ft. Edward.  Kick-off 1 PM

The Booster Club at CCS does much to promote and organize sporting events at the School. They also run the snack bars at sporting events. During this busy time of year for games going on, the snack bar is open for volleyball, soccer and football games. Volunteers are needed for shift work at each event and the busy organizer of the scheduling for workers is Penny Brand, a CCS mom. If you would like to assist in the snack bar, please contact Penny at the snack bar or via The Tribesmen Booster Club, online or Facebook. Penny sends her thanks!!

ATTENTION SCRAMBLE GOLFERS, the new Scramble organizers, Don Catellier and Matt Pender are trying to come up with ideas to encourage more younger players to be part of the Scramble.  One idea is to move the Scramble to Saturday morning.  What do you think?  Please let me know and I will pass your thoughts on to Don and Matt.
(This was in the last newsletter and I had 1 person respond.  PLEASE let us know what you think!)

Barbara Peters class of 1966

A report about my new haying business!!  Today I finished baling my hay😍. That's me with the pink sunglasses and smile! In total, I baled 50 Acres of second cutting and 40 of first. It was a hassle in the beginning. I didn't have enough equipment and the used tractor I bought--(guess the color. It's about 50 years old) wasn't right for the job I had in mind. BUT is perfect for others--once I figured that out life was good...

I have a whole army of new friend helpers at Capital Tractor and Salem Farm Supply which helped me with suggestions, free advice and the service guys came while I was here and actually showed me how to fix stuff so I can do it myself next time. Father must be smiling in heaven. He was building and mechanical fix-it-person.

The theory is the same if making a meal, sewing a dress or repairing farm equipment. Figure out what has to be done, read the instructions if available, get the proper materials. use the correct tools and just do it!!

About half way thru I realized I was having fun--doing what I like best driving my RED tractors around my fields. Thanks for the encouragement

There are 291 days left until The 13th All Classes Reunion, starting July 14, 2017.

Hoping to hear from you SOON!!!

Pauline
