MAY 1, 2016

Dear CCS Alumni and Friends,  had several more responses to the assignment so I am sending them out before my computer is admitted to the hospital tomorrow.  I still will be able to receive your emails on my tablet but will not be able to send out any newsletters or notifications until my computer is returned.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT: Reunion Plans or Not.   Just click on Reply. Simply state:  Going or Not Going or Still thinking about it.   Of course you are not limited to MY words....write what you would like to.  Challenge a friend, classmate, family member to reply.  Example.  I am going and I am asking John Doe  Class of 19__  if she or he is going.
PLEASE NOTE:  Sending me an email DOES NOT register you.  You must fill out the registration form and send it to the Alumni Committee in Cambridge

There are 74 days left until The 12th All Classes Reunion

Joel Ketonen Class of '63 (well sort of that is) Garland TX
As much as I truly would like to make this year's, I seriously doubt if it is the cards.

Jeff Ashworth, Class of 1967
Not going.  Probably won't be able to go next year either, but have you heard if anyone is organizing anything for our class.  It will be the 50th.

Fred Knapp '62.  We will be back in Sunapee, NH, from Sarasota, Florida and I expect I will be able to drive over the mountain for the parade and to chat with so many alums.  It is great fun to catch up.  See you there!

Thure Johnson Class of 1964 – will be there, flying in July 12th and looking forward to take a trip through Sandgate,Vt., see Grandfathers old place

Frank Brunner Former Class of 1985- planning to arrive in Cambridge late on Saturday evening 7/16. Hope to meet some friends and former classmates for a beverage at "the Bog". Looking forward to more fun on Sunday afternoon- picnic or cookout anyone???  I’m fortunate that each year, the CCS Reunion usually aligns with an Alumni Event I have at West Point. Coming from Florida I can usually only arrange 1 visit per year, so after my obligations end on Saturday at West Point, I drive to Cambridge and try to arrive by 11pm.

Muriel (Maxwell) Lufkin, Class of 1946
I am hoping to be able to attend the All Classes Reunion but it will depend on my health at that time.  I had two heart attacks in January and am still in “recovery mode”.  I am hoping for nice weather at that time and whether Cathy will be able to bring me.

Thanks for all the work you do, Pauline, in getting these reunions organized and encouraging us all to attend.  Hope to see you there.

NOTE FROM PAULINE:  I cannot take the credit for organizing the reunions.  The dedicated members of the Alumni Committee in the Cambridge area are responsible for that and they do a wonderful job with very little help.

 Mike Marsh, Class of 1963

I'll be away on a motorcycle trip Friday and Saturday

Plan on attending the breakfast on Sunday

 Dave Skiff

Sue and I plan on attending.

Lucille (Dustin) Makrin - Class of 1960

Also a challenge to Jo Thornton--we all miss you especially at our special event.  It hasn't been the same.

Terri (Whittier) Reagan, Class of 1975.

I will not be attending this year.  I am planning on going down to Norfolk, VA to visit my youngest son and his family.  Everyone have a wonderful time.

 Wes & Anne Mook
Class of 58 will adjust its brunch time at the Mook Cottage to 9:30 to 2:00 to allow interested members to attend the Cambridge Parade. Coffee will be available for early birds. Look forward to seeing EVERYONE.

If you have sent in the "assignment" and said you are going, you are NOT registering.  I do NOT register you…..you must send in your registration. If you do not have access to a printer, you can copy the information to a plain sheet of paper and send it in.
Please remember, I can NOT register you.  I live in Mississippi: the form needs to be sent to Cambridge.

This is the time I always try to push the All Classes Reunion and the assignment is about getting people interested in attending.  HOWEVER, that does not mean that this newsletter is restricted to only that news.  Please, if you have something to say, I hope you will send it in. Do you want to something you want to share?  A shout out to family and friends, a promotion, a new job, new house, new baby or grandbaby, a wedding, a vacation, a trip, suggestions for the website, newsletter, reunion, a memory from the past?????

Hope to hear from you soon.

Pauline
