There must be something good in the water up there in Cambridge!  Your mention of Mrs. Tully reminded me that my father, former Cambridge elementary principle Jim Leone, just turned 95 earlier this month.

He and my mother now reside at Brookdale Fillmore Pond (assisted living) in Bennington, VT.

Just read the little essay by "Jollie Ollie" and felt a response was in order.  First, that's a great story Ollie!!!!  Let's hear some more!!!  I took a PG following my graduation in 1958 and took a  newly offered "Advanced Science" course.  It was 2 periods long and covered Nuclear Science, Aviation and Radio.  My 2 classmates were Paul Schneider and Ollie.  Our Instructor was my future Father-in-Law, Ken Wilbur.  We had a fantastic year and I really got to know both Ollie and Paul as very intelligent and amicable young men!  The experiences we shared in that class will last me a lifetime!!!  

 Speaking of PA announcements, Kerry Mc Kernon and I also had some fun preparing our "Promos" for our HI FI HOPS that we got permission (Lord knows how!!) to play over the PA as special announcements in the morning!

To Jolly Ollie – You and my brother were 7 years ahead of me in school, but I’m pretty sure I remember the day you made that famous announcement.  Best start to the day ever!

In looking over my list of class members, it has occurred to me that most of the addresses have not been updated in the past 10 years! I am sure many have moved and I would like to get a new list so I can contact class members about plans to celebrate our 60th. ( 60th! We are now officially old!) I am asking people to send me their addresses and emails )or the addresses of their parents and relatives if computers are not being used by them. ) I am still in Cambridge at 12 Gilmore Ave and my email is Lhasalov@nycap.rr.com We have a lot of living members and seeing the class together will be a lot of fun.

Friends of Patti Turi will be holding an art show in Patti’s memory. It will be at the Saunders Gallery of Fine Art at the Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, NY.
We lost Patti this past December to mesothelioma and we want to remember her with an art show.
Her art will be hung from April 6th thru April 29th. A reception will be held on Sunday, April 9th from 1:00 – 3:00 with refreshments.
It will include many of Patti’s Photo’s which will be for sale. Additional items for sale will be blank notecards created by Patti featuring her photography, various framed or matted photography, and several quilted and felted items.
Proceeds will be donated to Kaykaing 4 Meso which will go the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation.
