Paul  Schneider. Class of 1959

Great story from Ed Cantwell about our year together in Ken Wilbur's first Advanced Science program. Thanks to Ken Wilbur; I graduated with 6 credits in science. Ken was a major influence on my life. One of the many dedicated CCS teachers of the 50's. Spring came early to Tennessee this year.
Spring is coming. Ed, Rachel & Phoebe are taking us to The Galapagos in April. 50th wedding anniversary/my 75th birthday present. I will have some pics for you when we return. Busy getting all the gear in order for the trip. Trying to assess damage in the garden after 2 days of temps in the teens. We have garden tours here in May & June. Never a dull moment. Best regards, paul s.
I will try to post some pics of our mini-arboretum /garden as Spring progresses. Best regards to all CCS grads especially the 59ers!!

Paul sent in pictures of a recent painting and a piece of metal sculpture.  I hope to have them on line soon.

Tom Raymond CCS 1964
Call out to all CCS 1964-1965 members: You may have seen or heard that Patrician Hall on South Park is now taking on a new life as the Village of Cambridge Youth Center.  You surely remember 6th grade there in 1957-58, no?  Please send me your memories, a paragraph or so, of that unique school year and I’ll wrap them up in an article for this alum website and The Eagle Press (if accepted by the editors.) Thanks. Tom Fernandina Beach, FL tomraymond55@gmail.com

Recently Paul Austin, Class of 1964, updated his personal page.  He put this in the comments and I thought I would share it with you
“ I love attending the reunions, I always see someone I haven't been in contact with for decades. Cambridge was a wonderful community (by definition) in which to grow up and we grew up in the best time imaginable. Hanging around/growing up at Coila Garage, Monday Night League (go, Zephyrs), always feeling a little more naive than my friends, Lake Dances, hanging out with friends (Don S,, John D., Mike M., Val C.) and working on cars, mowing lawns and odd jobs, a certain brunette,

I am hoping other will send in comments about the reunions and growing up in Cambridge

Melissa Specio sent in this announcement.

On a personal note….thanks for your concern, emails, and messages concerning my illness.  It has been since Feb.27th and I think I am finally getting back to some normalcy.  I still spend most of my day in the recliner but hopefully will get some strength back soon.

Hope to hear from you soon

Pauline
