Dear CCS Alumni and Friends, I want to wish each one a Very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.  I truly feel blessed to be part of such a great family of CCSers. I am grateful for your kind words of encouragement, your support and your prayers throughout the year.  I appreciate your emails, your participation in the newsletter and website and hope you will find time to continue.  When I count my blessings you are right up there among the top.

Happy Thanksgiving. Shout out to the 2016 CCS Football Team! Save travels. Bring it home. The Spiezios (Class of '90, 93, & 2018!)

This is Heidi Kent Jones from Red Wing, Minnesota. I've lived here for 29 years now. It looks like upstate NY has more snow than we do right now! I helped set a world record for the world's largest handbell choir at the Mall of America last Saturday. It was a lot of fun! The event kicked off the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign for the season. I'm still thankful for my music being part of the band under Howard Strobeck.  HAPPY THANKSGIVING to the Class of 1980!

Earl Costello, Class of 1943
Just viewed Oliver Perry's video of the Indian's game. Great to see the scenes and the plays and the final score. On to the Dome, good luck Indians. No snow in Florida, but football fever with the Gators, they're on to the SEC playoffs in 2 weeks vs. Alabama. We have reservations for Thanksgiving dinner with family @ the Gathering Table in Chiefland, FL.

Just finished shoveling us out!  Have to stay ahead of it, especially when we have had approximately 25 inches of snow in the last 24 hours.
Happy Thanksgiving to the Class of 1960 and all the CCS Golfers.

I will be at the Dome on Friday, rooting the Orange & Black on to victory.

A special thank you to Ollie Perry for the football videos.  Can't wait to see this year’s recording ( 2016 ) since we are in Florida and can't attend.

CCS FOOTBALL TEAM HEADED TO THE DOME

The Tribesman Booster Club has led the way at preparing our football team for the state finals on Friday at noon at the Carrier Dome. The Booster club has arranged for one charter bus of fans to go to the game at a discounted rate. 2016 Championship cow bells are on order for game goers and ACE Hardware has order orange light bulbs for our porch lights. Businesses in town are having their windows painted to show their support. Battenkill Books is holding an Orange sale on Wednesday and a Black sale on Friday. The team will be escorted out of town Friday at 7 am by a host of emergency service vehicles. The team is practicing today in Stillwater on their turf field (ours is covered in snow) and tomorrow Thanksgiving morning at 9 am. We have a super excited team, coaches, and mothers! Many of these same kids played on the 2010 Pee Wee Football team that lost their super bowl by 1 point. Amazing group of athletes and overall great kids.

There are 232 days left until The 13th All Classes Reunion, starting July 14, 2017.
