Dear CCS Alumni and Friends, hope this find everyone well and making plans for a Reunion Weekend in Cambridge!! Several classes are planning special activities and have posted these on Facebook.  Please check for your class’s Facebook page.   To those of you not using Facebook or would like to cover all bases, I will be glad to put notices on the website and in the newsletters.  Please write your announcement as you want it to appear.  Thanks.

We haven't had an "assignment" in a while now.  How about this.  Reunion Plans or Not.   Just click on Reply... Put your full name, class year and where you are living now in the body of the email.  Then simply state:  Going or Not Going or Still thinking about it.   Of course you are not limited to MY words....write what you would like to.  Challlenge a friend, classmate, family member to reply.  Example.  I am going and I am asking Mick Kent, Class of 1958 if he is going.
Please help me out here.  Response to the newsletter has been very slow lately...giving this ole lady a complex!!!!

LATEST ABOUT THE REUNION  AND 150 CAMBRIDGE ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND:

“There is a 150th Village Celebration on July 16, the Saturday of the reunion.  There will be a parade at 10 am, some afternoon activities, and then an evening street dance.”

My information is somewhat limited but hopeful more plans will be reported to me as they are made..

From Jane Wright: There will be lots of floats in the parade on Saturday morning, from what I have heard. The Alumni Association will not be entering a float but we are encouraging different classes to do so if they wish. (Maybe classic cars of the era of the class? I would love to locate a '57 Chevy for some members of our class.)

I will be the person to contact if someone wants to do this.  Just call or email me (i don't do Facebook) and I will let the parade organizers know who to plan on.

From Susan Sardi, Class of 1966
The Class of 1966 is looking for volunteers for working on the float.  Also looking for anyone who has a truck and flatbed and would like to volunteer to drive in the parade  People should contact Janet Tully Kuzman with a copy to Karen McKean and Susan Sardi

The class of 1976 40th Reunion Committee is looking for the following people:  Judy Crawford; Dana Dunham; Philip Hertel; Theresa Jancek; John Johansen; Karen McBride; Dave Rac; Mark Thompkins; Judy Thurber; Stephanie Vilet; Ron Wilson; Bret Wold; Gene Hayes; John Kramer; Ernest Lockrow; James Woods.  If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

The Class of 1996 will have its 20th reunion on Saturday, July 30 at The Dutch. If you would like to be included in information and invitations and have not yet provided your email address, please complete the following form: http://goo.gl/forms/V0Bk8Y6vTa. Thanks! Cindy Bischoff

Staying in Touch
Most people had heard by now that old copies of the Washington County Post have been scanned and placed online at ... http://fultonhistory.com/Fulton.html

But did you know that more current history is also online at ... http://www.TheEagleNewspaper.com

From the home page you can contact the paper to order a subscription, but there is also an ARCHIVES link. It takes a year or so for editions to be added to the online archives, but they are there. For example, if you want to see how the CCS Alumni Reunion was covered in the local paper, you could click on ARCHIVES, then 2014, then July-24. You will find a 30+ page PDF complete with color photos. For example, the one I just mentioned is mapped to ... http://www.theeaglenewspaper.com/files/2014/July_24_2014small.pdf
